Trip Highlight

Cuc Phuong National Park : Established in 1962, Cuc Phuong is Vietnam’s first-ever national park. Located just 120 km southwest of Hanoi, it lies between the provinces of Ninh Binh, Hoa Binh, and Thanh Hoa. The park is renowned for its rich cultural heritage, diverse wildlife, and stunning landscapes. Towering limestone mountains rise dramatically from the lush green rice terraces and traditional stilt houses of the Muong hill-tribe. The area is covered by dense forests, which provide a habitat for some of Asia’s most endangered species of plants and animals. It’s no surprise that this extraordinary destination attracts researchers, nature lovers, wildlife enthusiasts, and conservationists from around the world.

Bear Sanctuary Vietnam (by FOUR PAWS) is a bear sanctuary located in Ninh Binh, Vietnam, founded by the global animal welfare organization FOUR PAWS. This organization focuses on protecting animals impacted by human activities, alleviating their suffering, rescuing those in need, and providing them with care. FOUR PAWS envisions a world where animals are treated with respect, empathy, and understanding. The sanctuary offers a safe haven for bears rescued from bile farming and the illegal wildlife trade in Vietnam, and provides visitors with a unique and educational opportunity to explore and learn about these animals in a natural environment.
