Established in 1962, Cuc Phuong National Park is Vietnam’s first-ever national park, located just 120 km southwest of Hanoi and nestled between the provinces of Ninh Binh, Hoa Binh, and Thanh Hoa. This remarkable park boasts a rich cultural and wildlife heritage, coupled with breathtaking natural scenery. Towering limestone mountains rise majestically from lush green rice terraces and traditional stilt houses of the Muong hill-tribe. The park is covered in dense forests, creating a habitat for some of Asia’s rarest animal and plant species. It’s no surprise that researchers, naturalists, wildlife enthusiasts, and conservationists from around the world are drawn to this unique destination.
In addition to Cuc Phuong, this tour also takes you to Van Long Nature Reserve, a pristine and tranquil spot that offers magnificent views of natural landscapes and rural life. Unlike the more popular Tam Coc and Trang An, Van Long remains largely untouched, providing an authentic and peaceful experience. Here, you will enjoy boat rides, observe rare birds and monkeys, and witness crystal-clear water reflecting the surrounding mountains, caves, and sky.
