Itinerary

Xin Chào! Welcome to Vietnam. Upon arrival, clear the immigration process and our people will welcome you at the airport and drive you to hotel for leaving luggage and relaxing (Check in time at 14:00)

After a comfort break for lunch, we’ll start with a visit to the War Remnants Museum, which houses a vast collection of exhibits, including weaponry, photographs, and documents detailing Vietnam’s wars with the French and Americans. Next, we’ll visit the Reunification Palace, the former residence of the President of South Vietnam and a symbol of the Southern Administration’s reign until the end of April 1975.

Our tour continues with stops at the Notre Dame Cathedral and Central Post Office, both iconic landmarks of Ho Chi Minh City. If time permits, we’ll also visit a local market. The tour concludes with a transfer back to your hotel for an overnight stay in Ho Chi Minh.

Meet our tour guide at 08:00 and set off for Cu Chi. As you travel, watch the scenery shift from urban landscapes to rice paddies, where villagers dry noodles by the roadside and other typical scenes of southern Vietnam unfold.

Upon arrival at the Cu Chi Tunnels, you’ll explore an astonishing underground tunnel network built by Vietnamese resistance fighters (Viet Cong) during both the French and American wars. Your visit begins with the Ben Dinh or Ben Duoc sections of the tunnels.

Here, you can imagine life as a guerrilla fighter, with Russian Carbine rifles and AK-47s on display. Spend time exploring the remaining tunnel system, which includes living quarters with kitchens and bedrooms, alongside essential facilities such as weapons factories, field hospitals, and command centers that supported the inhabitants’ basic needs. You’ll also discover hidden trap doors and dangerous traps within the maze-like tunnels, designed for security during the war.

Afterward, you’ll have the chance to taste some special tea and cassava, the staple food of the guerrillas during the war. In the afternoon, we’ll journey back to Ho Chi Minh City, enjoy lunch and be free for the rest of the day. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh

Depart from your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City at 8:00 AM for a journey to the Mekong Delta, passing lush green rice fields on the way to the charming rural town of Cai Be.

Our adventure begins with a brief visit to Cai Be Town, followed by a stop at a local workshop to see how rice paper, coconut products, and pop-rice are made. You’ll get to enjoy some sweets with a cup of hot tea. Next, a rowing boat will take us deeper into the countryside, navigating smaller canals for a peaceful experience.

For lunch, you’ll have the option to dine at a local house or on the boat.

After lunch, we’ll head to Tân Phong Island, where you can either bike or walk along village paths to witness local daily life, including orchards, schools, churches, pagodas, and traditional houses. Along the way, we’ll make stops to see how locals weave dried water-hyacinth into various products like baskets, bags, hats, wallets, and shoes.

At a local garden, we’ll relax with some tea while listening to traditional music. The cruise will conclude at Cai Be pier. Afterward, we’ll continue our drive to Chau Doc, where we’ll check in and stay overnight at a hotel.

This morning, we’ll check out early, ready for a picturesque boat trip to explore the floating village, a floating fish farm, and the Cham ethnic village. We’ll also take a boat ride along the Vinh Te canal, where you can see houses on stilts lining both sides, offering a glimpse into local life.

After checking out of the hotel, we’ll board our private bus to visit the impressive Ba Chua Xu temple, nestled at the foot of Sam Mountain. Following this, we’ll enjoy a scenic drive to the stunning Tra Su Bird Sanctuary. Here, amidst a serene and tranquil setting, we’ll glide through forest canals to observe wading birds. Prepare to be captivated by the enchanting scenery of mossy green waterways, bordered by beautiful cajuput trees. Keep an eye out for the abundant wildlife, including birds of paradise and storks.

After our visit to Tra Su, we’ll continue on to Can Tho for an overnight stay.

Today, we’ll start the day early and head out to make the most of our time. We’ll board our private boat to visit Cai Rang, the largest floating market in all of Vietnam. Here, you’ll witness the vibrant trade of local produce, with goods sold directly from boat to boat. You’ll also have the opportunity to purchase some items yourself and even enjoy your morning coffee at one of the unique floating cafés.

After exploring the market, we’ll return to the hotel for a well-earned breakfast. Once checked out, we’ll transfer back to Ho Chi Minh City, with lunch served at a local restaurant along the way. We’ll end the day with an overnight stay at a hotel in Ho Chi Minh.

Enjoy your last day in Vietnam for shopping and relaxing. Depending on your flight schedule we will transfer you to the airport (3 hours in advance). Thank you for traveling with us and hope to see you again soon!
