Day 1: Journey from Hanoi to the Serene Waters of Lan Ha Bay

Your journey begins with a convenient pick-up from your hotel in the Hanoi Old Quarter. Enjoy a scenic drive along the expressway as you head towards Beo Harbour, located in the charming town of Cat Ba, Haiphong. Arrive at the harbor around 11:30, where you will embark on the first stage of your adventure.

A tender boat will transfer you from Beo Harbour to the luxurious Venezia Cruises. After completing the necessary cruise registration and paperwork, you will board the vessel.

Once onboard, you’ll receive a warm welcome from the crew with a refreshing welcome drink. Afterward, you will be guided through a brief introduction to the cruise and important safety instructions by the Cruise Manager and crew members.

As you settle in, a sumptuous lunch will be served. While you dine, the cruise will navigate through a series of stunning limestone islets, each rising majestically from the emerald waters. This part of the bay remains relatively untouched, offering a more intimate and serene experience. You’ll pass by the scenic route via Cat Ba Island, Coc Ngoi Islet, and continue through Cua Dong to the Ba Trai Dao area, known for its pristine beauty.

A light breakfast will be served, allowing you to savor the peaceful ambiance of the bay in the early morning.

Transfer to a tender boat for an excursion to Viet Hai Village on Cat Ba Island. This charming village is nestled deep within a valley, accessible through a tunnel of lush rainforest. You’ll have the option to explore the village by bicycle, or, if you prefer, an electric car is available for a more relaxed ride. As you journey through the scenic landscape, you’ll arrive at the village, where you’ll have the chance to meet local inhabitants, visit traditional houses, and witness their daily routines. Learn about the unique culture of the area, see the village school, and immerse yourself in the serene rural life of Viet Hai.

Return to the Venezia Cruises boat for check-out procedures. As the ship makes its way back to the harbor, enjoy a delightful lunch onboard, taking in the last views of the beautiful bay.

Arrive at the quay side in the southern part of the bay. It’s time to disembark and bid farewell to the crew and your fellow travelers.

CHILDREN POLICY:

Kid’s age from 09 years old upward will be counted as adult’s rate
Children from 5 -9 years old: charge 75% of an adult’s rate, staying in an extra bed
Children from 3-4 years old: charge 50% of an adult’s rate, sharing bed with parents
Children under 3 years old: free of charge (sharing bed with parents. There is an additional charge for the bus ticket or if ordering separate food for the child. ), plus any tourist attractions or services that require entrance fee for under 3-year-old kid.
