Day 1
Organized by Pioneer Travel
07:25 – 08:00: Begin your day with a convenient pick-up by our friendly guide from your hotel or a designated location in Hanoi’s Old Quarter or Opera House. Once all guests are on board, we’ll depart for the scenic journey to Ninh Binh province.
09:15: Take a short break for 15-20 minutes to stretch and refresh before continuing our trip.
10:15: Arrive at Hoa Lư, the ancient capital of Vietnam from 968 to 1010. Here, you’ll have the chance to explore the rich history of Vietnam under the Dinh, Le, and Ly Dynasties. After exploring the historical sites, we will embark on a bicycle tour around the village, offering you a glimpse into the daily lives of the local people and the beautiful rural scenery.
12:00: Head to Ninh Binh Excursion Restaurant for a delicious buffet lunch. The restaurant, designed with a 5-star style, offers a variety of local dishes including goat meat, spring rolls, fish, chicken, fried rice, and vegetable salad. Vegetarian options are also available to cater to all dietary preferences.
13:30: Proceed to Tam Coc for a 1.5-hour bamboo boat ride. This serene journey will take you through enchanting landscapes featuring paddy fields, rivers, clouds, sky, and a stunning cave system. Often referred to as “Ha Long Bay on land,” Tam Coc’s natural beauty will leave you mesmerized.
15:30: After the boat tour, we’ll board the Limousine Bus and head to Mua Cave (Dragon Peak). This part of the trip involves climbing almost 500 steps to reach the top of Lying Dragon Mountain. From the summit, you’ll enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view of Tam Coc. Additionally, you can breathe in the fresh air at the beautiful lotus paddy field nearby, especially picturesque in the summertime.
17:00: After exploring Mua Cave and enjoying the stunning views, we’ll board the bus for the return trip to Hanoi. Relax and reflect on the day’s adventures as we make our way back to the city.
19:00: Arrive back in Hanoi, where our guide will drop you off at your hotel, concluding the one-day trip.
