Day 1: Welcome to Halong Bay – Adventure and Discovery

12:00 – Check-in:
Arrive at Halong International Port, where the Athena Team will warmly greet you. Complete your check-in process at the lounge before boarding the cruise.
12:30 – Embarkation:
Board the Athena Cruise via tender boat. The Cruise Manager and crew will give you a warm welcome and conduct a safety briefing while you enjoy a complimentary welcome drink.
12:45 – Delightful Lunch:
Savor a delicious lunch in the cozy onboard restaurant as the cruise begins its journey through the scenic beauty of Ha Long Bay, one of the world’s natural wonders.
14:45 – Explore Sung Sot Cave:
The cruise anchors near Bo Nau Cave in the heart of the UNESCO heritage site. Take a tender to Sung Sot (Surprising) Cave, the largest and most spectacular cave in Halong Bay.
15:45 – Visit Titov Island:
After exploring Sung Sot Cave, the journey continues to Titov Island, named by President Ho Chi Minh in honor of Soviet astronaut Gherman Titov. Here, you can swim, relax on the beach, or hike up the island’s rocky steps to enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view of the bay.
17:00 – Unwind on Board:
Return to Athena Cruise and relax after an eventful afternoon as the cruise heads to the overnight anchorage at Titop587.
18:00 – 19:00 – Sunset Happy Hour:
Take advantage of the “Buy 1, Get 1 Free” drink promotion during Happy Hour while watching the sun set over the bay.
18:30 – Vietnamese Cooking Class:
Learn to make traditional Vietnamese dishes with the Head Chef during an engaging cooking demonstration.
19:00 – Elegant Dinner:
A fusion set menu will be served, offering a delightful culinary experience to cap off your day of exploration.
20:30 – Evening Entertainment:
Enjoy your free time with a variety of activities, including movie screenings, mini-games, squid fishing, or a relaxing massage. The Cruise Manager is available to assist with your evening plans.

Day 2: Nature’s Serenity and Cultural Discovery

- 06:30 – Morning Tai Chi:
  Start your day with a refreshing Tai Chi session on the sundeck as the cruise makes its way to Luon Cave.
- 07:00 – Light Breakfast:
  Enjoy a light breakfast at the restaurant before your morning adventure.
- 07:30 – Visit Luon Cave:
  Explore Luon Cave, known for its beautiful endemic vegetation and stunning rock formations. You can choose between kayaking for a closer experience or riding in a traditional bamboo boat rowed by a local boatman.
- 09:00 – Prepare for Departure:
  Return to the Athena Cruise, relax, and pack your belongings. Leave your luggage outside the cabin for collection.
- 09:30 – Farewell Brunch:
  Savor a delicious buffet brunch in the restaurant as the cruise heads back to the port.
- 10:45 – Disembarkation:
  Board the tender back to Halong International Port for your farewell. It’s time to say goodbye, with fond memories of your extraordinary journey with Athena Cruise.
- Note: From July 7 to August 31, 2024, during peak season, the itinerary will be adjusted with a visit to Luon Cave on Day 1 and Titov Island on Day 2. The tour schedule may also be subject to change due to weather or sea conditions.

CHILDREN POLICY:

Kid’s age from 09 years old upward will be counted as adult’s rate
Children from 5 -9 years old: charge 75% of an adult’s rate, staying in an extra bed
Children from 3-4 years old: charge 50% of an adult’s rate, sharing bed with parents
Children under 3 years old: free of charge (sharing bed with parents. There is an additional charge for the bus ticket or if ordering separate food for the child. ), plus any tourist attractions or services that require entrance fee for under 3-year-old kid.
