Itinerary

Day 1

08:00 – 08:30: Your journey begins with a luxury van picking you up from your hotel in Hanoi’s Old Quarter. Enjoy the scenic drive through the Red River Delta en route to Ha Long Bay. (Please note this service is not included)

11:00 – 11:30: Arrive at Lot 32 – Tuan Chau Marina, where you’ll complete check-in procedures at the lounge. Sip on a special tea as you’re warmly welcomed.

11:45 – 12:00: A speedboat will transfer you to Orchid Class Cruises. Once aboard, enjoy a welcome drink and gather in the restaurant for a briefing and safety instructions.

12:45 – 13:00: Delight in a delicious lunch as the cruise navigates through Ha Long Bay and Lan Ha Bay, both part of the New Seven Wonders of Nature.

15:00 – 15:30: Explore the Dark and Bright Caves, a must-see attraction! Kayak through these caves for an up-close experience of Ha Long Bay’s stunning natural beauty. Alternative: Visit Ba Trai Dao (Three Peaches Islets), where calm waters and breathtaking scenery provide a perfect backdrop for kayaking or relaxing on the sandy shore. Enjoy a refreshing swim in the emerald waters if the weather is favorable.

17:00 – 17:30: The cruise anchors at Tra Bau, Lan Ha Bay, for an overnight stay, offering a tranquil setting to fully appreciate the bay’s beauty.

18:00 – 18:15: Join a cooking class onboard and take advantage of Happy Hour at the bar while watching the sun set over the bay. Option: Massage services are available; please book directly with our Cruise Manager.

19:15 – 19:30: Indulge in a gourmet dinner featuring the freshest ingredients, served in an elegant space blending French neoclassical design with traditional oriental accents.

21:00 – 21:30: Enjoy the nighttime ambiance of the bay. The bar on the sundeck and the restaurant are open for your enjoyment. Try your hand at squid fishing, watch a movie in the restaurant, or play chess and cards.

23:00: Overnight aboard the cruise.

Day 2

06:00 – 06:30: Start your day with a tai chi session on the sundeck, a perfect way to soak in the serene beauty of the bay. For those keen on catching the sunrise, wake up between 5:30 and 6:00, depending on the season, and consult our crew for the best spots.

06:45 – 07:00: Enjoy breakfast in the restaurant as the cruise continues.

07:15 – 07:30: Board a bus on Cat Ba Island and head to Trung Trang Cave, situated in the heart of Cat Ba National Park. Surrounded by the Kim Giao forest, this cave stretches 300 meters through the mountain, boasting a mystical beauty shaped by millions of years of geological activity. The unique stalactites inside will spark your imagination and leave you in awe.

09:45 – 10:00: Return to Orchid Cruises and prepare to check out.

10:00 – 10:30: Relish a delightful brunch at the restaurant.

11:00 – 11:30: Disembark at Tuan Chau Marina, bid farewell, and conclude your cruise.

14:30 – 15:00: Arrive at your drop-off point in Hanoi. End of the trip. (Please note this service is not included)

Kid’s age from 09 years old upward will be counted as adult’s rate
Children from 5 -9 years old: charge 75% of an adult’s rate, staying in an extra bed
Children from 3-4 years old: charge 50% of an adult’s rate, sharing bed with parents
Children under 3 years old: free of charge (sharing bed with parents. There is an additional charge for the bus ticket or if ordering separate food for the child. ), plus any tourist attractions or services that require entrance fee for under 3-year-old kid.
